Very occasionally I can get stuck on a scene. In that situation I skip ahead to the next part, and then I'll double back to steer towards that point. I'm definitely improving with my plots though, and love creating dynamic scenes. My hope is that if they're fun to write they will also be fun to read.

I get to live a thousand lives. I'm the kind of person who loves research, and imagining life in different careers. As a writer I get to give life to these ideas in a character and then move on to the next one.

I get pretty much two responses from people who know me when I've told them I've published a book:
#1: that's awesome, congratulations! What's your next one about?
#2: well, even if no one reads it, you can still be proud that you finished one.
If given the choice, surround yourself with people like #1

#2 in the Billionaire Sweethearts series is ALMOST ready for publication! "A Bridesmaid for the Playboy Billionaire" follows the romance if one of the reformed villains from the first book. In total I've drafted out six full length novels in total for this series, but there may be a few side novellas as well.
Vince and Amy from book #1 have their own 10k word short story which is available for free to those who join my mailing list. These shorts tend to be side plots that I've taken out of the main stories because they don't quite fit in with the flow. As a reader I love bonus content, so I try to package these stories up nicely rather than remove them completely.

I can't actually get enough time to write! I have two young kids at home, so have to squeeze in time in the evenings or while they're at preschool. I've got a book of ideas a lot thicker than my finished manuscripts, so whenever I finish one I've got a huge selection to pick out my next project.

I love fairy tales and classic stories and wanted to bring them into the modern age with relatable settings and quirky characters.
A Cinderella for the Undercover Billionaire is obviously a reimagination of a classic Cinderella story, whereas the inspiration for the upcoming second in the series "A Bridesmaid for the Playboy Billionaire" actually came from Little Lord Fauntleroy - although not much is recognizable except for some names I've used as homage.
