Actually I'd really not want to go to any of them - I think it would spoil the magic, but if you forced my hand it would probably be Westeros GoT - exciting, dangerous but what an adventure it would be.

In the years I have been writing I have never really suffered from this. I think if you have a good idea, things will flow (you tend to know if you're flogging a dead horse) - if that fails try another route, write mega short stories (less than 150 words) or poetry to get things going again.

You can be anywhere you like, when you like with whomever you like. You get to decide who lives, loves, dies, is happy or sad. If your characters are good, you fall in love with them and they can surprise you as much as real people, yes really! Sometimes I begin a chapter or story and I have no idea where I'll end up.

Just write - work at an idea and take it to its natural length, make the best job of it you can and then publish it on Amazon, or elsewhere (it's free to do so!) If you think your stories are too short - collect a few together and make a book! If you can afford it get a cover designed - a good cover is important.

I love writing - I'm never not. Writing takes place in the head - sitting and tapping it out, is the physical transformation of thoughts into words.
I usually have two or three stories on the go at any one time - 1 novel and at least two short stories and the odd poem that nags at me, usually at 2 in the am. Any little thing can lead to a story.

Researching Soviet atrocities in their progress toward Berlin in 1945 - came across the Nemmersdorf Massacre, which was the seed that set the story in motion. (About Angel Avenger out May 1)
Girl Hunter - began as a chapter in the novel and evolved until it stood as a story on its own. The idea came from animal instincts to hunt.
