Asking me to choose between Middle Earth, Narnia, and Hogwarts is such a difficult challenge! I'll go with Hogwarts today, thank you! I would want to attend a Quidditch game, hang out with Hermione in the library for a Saturday uninterrupted, and then visit with Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Hagrid in his hut for some tea.

Great question! Before I was sleeping well (thank goodness I am sleeping now), the notes section on my phone was used to capture ideas. Now, I wake up and document the thoughts that might come to me in a dream. I get full conversations now during the middle of the day now so I started a new Google doc to keep up with the ideas and research for the horror novel that I’m going to write this summer. Sweet Potato Jones came to me in a dream. She was right in the middle of her monologue- contemplating why her momma had to make the choices that she did. The storyline works many different choices that can affect not only one life but those around them. I was teaching a student at the time that was living in extreme poverty yet she was a light to all of those around her. I'm in the promotional phase of Sweet Potato Jones right now, but I have a couple of projects that I'm excited about. I'm editing a YA Scottish trilogy and will start a YA Horror over the summer! I'm in the research phase of the horror book now. I also have an author's challenge book releasing December 2019.

Never give up! Keep writing. Join groups. Listen to author podcasts (Jen Lowry Writes is mine, but there are so many other fabulous ones out there). Watch YouTube videos. Take a class. Go to a writer's conference. Keep writing and believe in yourself.

I love to take nature hikes! It helps to clear my mind, and I'm more productive when I return home. Stopping to watch a quick video or singing also helps!
