Why is my normally quiet, deep-sleeper dog barking like a madman in the middle of the night at an empty street? Opening scene for a crime/mystery novel? :)

Well, it's currently winter and I can not possibly plan that far ahead with my reading. I am currently reading 6 of Crows by Leigh Bardugo and next I will be reading Scythe by Neal Shusterman. I also have The Fiery Cross by Diana Galbaldon on my bedside table that I can't wait to get back to.

I am currently working on a follow up to A Hand to Hold, tentatively titled Skinny Fit. The story will follow a minor character from A Hand to Hold as she steps into college life and battles with her own body image issues as she searches for a place to belong.
