Kathryn Ann Kingsley Sadly I'm not sure who to recommend. But as for other writers I always adore, I'm a huge fan of monster romance and sci-fi romance, even if they aren't villainous. I read everything by Lillian Lark, Tiffany Roberts, and for the darker stuff, Zoe Blake.
Kathryn Ann Kingsley He just kind of showed up one day. And wrote himself. That scene where he uses Cora's gun? Yeah, he ruined a whole six chapters that I had planned with that. LOL! I wish I could tell you specifically where he came from otherwise.
Kathryn Ann Kingsley I've had "revamp merch" on my to-do list for... two years now. I really need to get on that. Sign up for my newsletter and I'll see what I can do in the next few months. Thanks for the inspiration to move it up my to-do list. LOL!
Kathryn Ann Kingsley Yes! They got shelved for a bit while I had to focus on other projects (and I was laid off from the day job and had to settle into a new job.) But at least one more is coming either end of this year or early next year.
Kathryn Ann Kingsley I am! They got shelved for a bit while I had to focus on other projects (and I was laid off from the day job and had to settle into a new job.) But at least one more is coming either end of this year or early next year.
Kathryn Ann Kingsley Oh, this is a good one. I love really deep historical fiction, but you basically have to have a PhD in that era (or a friend with one) in order not to get everything wrong. LOL!
Kathryn Ann Kingsley Hmm. That book was definitely a little "lighter" than some of my stuff. I would try maybe Harrow Faire? That one definitely has a good mix of humor.

But I guess I should write more in that vein now! LOL! :D

Kathryn Ann Kingsley You are definitely on to something. ;)
Don't worry. Anfar gets his HEA.
Kathryn Ann Kingsley Hi there!
Morten, and his final book in the Cardinal Winds series, will come out after my Unseelie Prince/Maze of Shadows series is done. So probably between February and April of next year. And yes! I am going to write Rudy his own book in the future. Also probably next year. :)
Kathryn Ann Kingsley There is actually going to be a sequel to this series! Book three and four will be set in modern day, and center a bit more around Zadok and Walter, but we'll see a great deal of Vlad and Maxine in them. :) Stay tuned, they'll be releasing next year.
Kathryn Ann Kingsley Hey there! One, thank you so much. I'm so glad you liked my Immortal Soul series, and I hope you enjoy my other series as well! And the good news is, I have a sequel series for Zadok and Walter that will hopefully come out this year, if not early next year. :)
Kathryn Ann Kingsley Hey there! There are 5 books currently that follow one complete story arc. I have plans to write a sixth book (Titled "The Zookeeper") next year that will be a story arc for one character and serve as a bit of an extended epilogue.
Kathryn Ann Kingsley I do, yes! I plan to write a modern-day sequel that follow the stories of Walter and Zadok. I think it'll come out middle of next year. :)
Kathryn Ann Kingsley Honestly, it all started with a dream where I saw the pool of the Ancients. Everything just started falling into place after that. It took me nearly a year of sitting on the idea thinking about it before i started writing.

Thank you so much. I'm really glad you liked the story! The sequel series starts this year. :)
Kathryn Ann Kingsley :Glances at the beer on the end table next to me.: What writer's block? I don't know what you're talking about.
Kathryn Ann Kingsley Um...I can get the voices out of my head?
Kathryn Ann Kingsley I *am* an aspiring writer.

Honestly? #1 lesson I learned from trying to find a publisher? Curb that word count. I sent in a manuscript that was 140k words long. The publisher who I signed with, turned the 3-part series to a 6-part series to accommodate. It doesn't matter if the story is "better" that way. It probably isn't, and they don't care.
Kathryn Ann Kingsley Book 5/6 of "The Masks of Under" series. It's the last two books, and they need a lot of work from the rough draft.
