Currently, I am writing a book that will guide people to find their own way to heal their trauma and help make the world a more just and compassionate place. It incorporates neuroscience research, trauma therapies, people's stories, and cartoons to help people become their own gurus for their own journey.

This book had been writing itself in the back of my mind for 30 years. After graduation from the Stanford PhD in Education Program in 2016, I just had to share all of my recent research experience with other faculty. I wrote Teachin' It! to help educators change the lives of students like me--students who are first-generation college students who deserve to feel at home in college classrooms.
