Boris goes to Market is about 95% written. Editing and story boarding with an illustrator will take some time. Meanwhile I am contemplating shifting to a chapter book series for Boris and his friends. My oldest grandchild is already getting "too old" for picture books. Time to shift gears.

The freedom to tell stories. Make up stuff. I can create whole new worlds and populate them with the best and worst characters. Because I can. But the best is the reward when my Granddaughter reads a story I wrote for her and likes it.

Take a nap. My subconscious will wrestle the demons while I sleep. Writer's block is not a problem if you are retired without a deadline. I do most of my best writing while walking around the block.
