My anthology piece I just recently wrote, a friend of mine helped me brainstorm ideas. Though, the story I recently won't ended up going in a totally different direction than how I originally wanted it to go. But, I was happy with it either way.

Read. Listen to music. Lately I've been playing tedious games like solitaire to help get me out of my head for awhile. It helps being able to focus on something other than your story. And I have a way of creating my own dreams. I think of characters totally unrelated to my stories and build a scene and act it all out in my head. Eventually, it tends to break the writer's block for me and gets my characters to open up and start talking.

To be able to create your own worlds. And be able to write that HEA, when in life you don't feel like you have your own. And readers. Being able to share my words with all the readers.

I have another anthology piece I'm working on. And a fellow author friend and I may be in the works of collaborating on something real soon. Just trying to work out all the details. More info to come soon. Also, will be posting updates on my Facebook page when I know more.

Never give up. Always be willing to push yourself past your comfort zone. Because, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. If writing is your passion. Then write. Don't worry what anyone else thinks. Write for you. Write a story that you know YOU will wanna read.

Mostly reading and listening to music. Depending on what I'm working on, even a good pictures of what I envision my characters to look like help sometimes as well.
