I am a kinetic person and I get all my ideas when I'm moving. Kind of a conundrum for a writer who has to sit to do her job! I'm a big observer and an eavesdropper. It's usually the interaction between two people which will spark a story in me.

I get blocked when I don't know where the story is going or if I've written myself into a corner. Then I go for a walk and explode the story in my head and I usually find the way out of the corner (well about 3 miles later!).
