Aspiring writers don't finish books, writers finish books. Not because it's something they aspire to do, but because finishing books is just what writers do.

Inspiration usually strikes me when I'm busy with something. When I'm working really hard on a task, I start thinking about my favorite books and TV shows, and suddenly ideas for my own stories start flooding in. It's both exciting and frustrating, as I'm not usually somewhere I can write the ideas down when they come.
