Leigh Fowler The word AMPLIFY has been in my mind all year. The concept of being "READY" has been a theme. AM I ready? When are you ready? Are you ever ready? I think the challenge is that we never feel ready to step into a bigger spotlight or overcome our next fear or challenge. We simply must take the first step.

It was ripping me apart inside to know that so many people have this magic inside of them and are simply not sharing their genius with the world. It's a journey. The book is simply a map to helping experts find their voice and market themselves in a way that feels good.

We are taught from a very young age not to brag, boast or stand out on purpose. Yet as adult entrepreneurs, we have to do exactly that! It's a journey to unravelling what we know we must do, deep in our core - yet fight that old story that it's not okay to stand out. I wanted to give my readers a way to stand out that helps them get aligned with their process and feel confident about how they were getting their message out there.
Leigh Fowler My inspiration comes from being of service. Knowing that somebody needs to hear/read my message. I am excited to help just that one person. It starts with that. Next, is clarity. What is the message I want them to hear?
Leigh Fowler I am working on a case set of pocket guides. Ready to Amplify is the first of a set of 4. I am excited to get started on #2, 3 and 4. I have to attach some serious deadlines and commitments behind the execution piece of these, but once you write your first book, it's easier to approach the next one for sure!
Leigh Fowler Make the decision to write and finish your book and don't get stuck on what your first book is. I thought about writing my book for over 20 years. The book I wrote wasn't the book I thought I'd write, that is still coming. But finishing the book felt amazing. So I would say it took me 20 years to write my first book - but in actuality, it took me 5 days to write it once I decided.
Leigh Fowler I do something that will boost my confidence - and I will also create a due date that has significant impact and consequences if I don't hit it - which forces me to get writing. Once I start, things will flow. I think it's the starting piece that slows me down!
