Srivalli Rekha (Semi-Hiatus) Those are interesting options!
I'm more of a 'what feels right for this plot' person, so I mix things up. My favorite is limited third-person with multiple POVs and a dual timeline.
Srivalli Rekha (Semi-Hiatus) Hi Achyuth,
That's a great question!

So, apart from collecting random bits of information about all sorts of things, I think I'm getting better at graphic design.
I've designed the cover for Forests and Faeries (my publisher guided me to make it better and finalized the details). I also made a bookmark to match the book.
Now, I'm working on a logo for my website and plan to offer services for designing bookmarks and book covers. Wouldn't say I know a lot but I'm learning. It's an ongoing process (CD & CI to say in technical terms). I hope I get better with each design. It's also very relaxing and liberating (possibly coz there are no client demands yet, lol).
Srivalli Rekha (Semi-Hiatus) Umm... The House of Justice short story (mine) should fit the range.
The Woman in Black is atmospheric horror and a favorite of many.
Behind the Veil by E.J. Dawson (though it has romance and third-act breakup).
Silverweed Road by Simon Crook is a collection of short stories set on the same road (good one!).

Srivalli Rekha (Semi-Hiatus) Hello Maddie,

Umm... I know very little about horses (I'm a city girl). Maybe someday after I can spend time with them. Fingers crossed! :)
Srivalli Rekha (Semi-Hiatus) Hello Maddie,

Yes, Tales from the Toybox is a multiple-author middle-grade fiction anthology by The Writers Workout.
Srivalli Rekha (Semi-Hiatus) Sorry, Karen. I'm yet to read the book. I can't say for sure. Tales from the Other Side is by Writers Workout, not Hive, so I'm only a contributor and not a part of the editorial team.

Srivalli Rekha (Semi-Hiatus) Hello Ashtottara,

My first solo book was my collection of poems. It was scary (for various reasons) but my friends (especially one of them) persisted and kept nudging me to try it. It was easier once I learned how to format and publish the book on KDP. It sure helped that my friends read most of the poems from the collection. Publishing a novel as my first book would have been harder, maybe.
Srivalli Rekha (Semi-Hiatus) Read my favorite books, craft something.
Srivalli Rekha (Semi-Hiatus) Being able to escape into another world whenever I write.
Srivalli Rekha (Semi-Hiatus) Keep writing. Write. Read. Edit. Rewrite. Read. Edit...
And it goes on and on.
Srivalli Rekha (Semi-Hiatus) A collection of flash fiction and short stories.
Srivalli Rekha (Semi-Hiatus) Poetry itself is the biggest inspiration. Apart from that, I prefer to write for prompts/ themes/ words/ phrases.
