Marcel Armstrong I allow it to be. I don't force it to go away. Everything has its time and place. Sometimes it's needed. Just as we need rest to recharge and get up and go again, writer's block can serve a similar purpose to refuel.
Marcel Armstrong We are all writers. We all have stories to tell. I do not look at myself as a writer, per se. I just write for fun.
Marcel Armstrong Start by getting your creative energies flowing. Perhaps you can keep a journal. The main thing is just to start. Write, write, write. Write about anything. But it has to sincerely interest you. Once you get a momentum going, it will become easier to sustain it.

Marcel Armstrong There is nothing that I do in particular. The moment has to be right. The inner feeling has to be there. There must be some over-flowing of creative energies. Timing is key. The stars must align ;-)
Marcel Armstrong I actually wrote the main 12 chapters of my memoir back in 2011, as a means of self-therapy. I wanted to better process all of the wild stuff that I went through and thought of doing it in written form. I had no intention on publishing a book at the time. I just wanted to keep a journal of sorts, and to do so as if I were telling an exciting story.
