L.R. Rutherford Keep writing.

Don't stop because it gets hard or you finish a story, keep going. Making writing a daily practice is important to maintain good writing habits and skills.

Quick writes, flash fiction, daily journals, diaries, blogs, these are all great representations of ways to stay in top writing condition.

Remember, not everything you write will be a masterpiece. Perfection is the goal of fools.
L.R. Rutherford I walk away. I go out with friends, read a novel different from the story I'm trying to write, or I simply switch to something else until inspiration hits.

If I'm not sure what I'm writing is good I place it in a new document and revisit it at a later date. This way if I want to use pieces of it later I can or if I want to look back at my progress this is a great tool for self-motivation.
