Actually, I have quite a few! Our family has some biggies that has affected me. They include a missing will and questions about biological parents. Don't be surprised if you see these mysteries in one of my future novels. But my second novel, The Hibiscus Heist, is actually based on the mystery of my stolen car. You'll have to read the book to discover if my car was returned and what happened after that.

I love meeting readers! It's becoming my favorite part. I love to hear what they think about this character or that one and sometimes a reader's influence guides me in a different direction. There's always another way to look at things. Also, being a writer allows me freedom.

I take a break. I either get out of the house and go have a coffee with my sister or a friend or I'll give myself permission to do nothing. Eventually I'm back to work. It seems I have a lot to say!

My recent book The Poppy Drop was an inspiration from an actual event and all the wedding stories in the book actually have happened to me. Book #2 The Hibiscus Heist is based on an event that happened in my life.

Actually, The Lily List Mystery Series is based on actual events that happened to me or to other professionals I know. Our family has been involved in the wedding flower business for around 100 years so there are a lot of stories to tell.
