Where in the timeline does the Sterling Falls books intercept the obsessions series? There are several cameos in the Obsessions series. Where is the overlap? Does Violet go to Sterling Falls before or after the war broke out? Saint is clearly there, so does that mean they visit the town they deem beautiful before all of the bloodshed between the gangs?
S. Massery I like to think Aspen and Steele go to Sterling Falls between Kora's series and Artemis's upcoming series (releasing 2025). So the war in SF is over and the city is on the mend!

Hi! I have a couple of questions! 1. Where do you get your inspirations for your storylines? 2. When you start a series like the new one for Camden Church- do you already know what characters will have books and what their storylines will be? 3. The re-release of Fallen Royals. Does Wicked Promises come out this year and will the remaining books re-release in 2025?
S. Massery Hi!! 1. They come out of the most random things! Like music or an errant thought as I'm driving (or in the shower, ha!). Little sparks of an idea take root and grow in my head. 2. I know the heroes for the series, but the rest will be a mystery until I learn more about them through Church. 3. Wicked Promises is coming December 5, 2024, so VERY soon! The other three, since they're standalones in that series, will release slower. :)

In the bonus section of The Pucking Coach's Daughter, there was a chapter of Maddy, is there a book for her out?
S. Massery Maddy doesn't have a book (yet)!

Does Finch from the Hockey God series get a book, or spin off? I feel like he was mentioned enough to have a story
S. Massery I have no plans for him to get his own book. However, he does make cameos in a certain upcoming release (*cough* Ruined God *cough*)

In what order of series do you recommend, preferably chronologically? I have CDO (OCD) and my brain likes things chronologically.
S. Massery Chronologically would be Fallen Royals > DeSantis Mafia > Sterling Falls > Hockey Gods > Sticks and Stones > The Pucking Coach's Daughter. Fallen Royals is currently unpublished and will be rereleasing starting Sept 19 2024, but everything else is available now. Hope that helps!

Will there be a book for Cillian Monroe (aspen's uncle ) and Thalia (aspen's roommate) from devious obsession?
S. Massery I don't currently have a story planned for them!

How would you rank the Hockey Gods books on the darkness and spice scale?
S. Massery I'd say they're "pretty dark" and "pretty spicy" - I think darkness and spice scales vary person to person, so it's hard to give an accurate number/rating. But there are content warnings in the author's note at the front of the books that should give you a good idea on darkness, and they have a good amount of spicy scenes. Hope that helps!

Will Knox in the dark hockey romance series have his own book?
S. Massery Knox's book is the last in the Hockey Gods series, Fierce Obsession! It releases February 16, 2024 :)

I'm just finishing up the Sterling Falls series. I'm sadly heartbroken. Is there more to Saint? I'm dying inside knowing he doesn't get a happy ending (that I know of)
S. Massery I know, I was left sad for Saint at the end of Queen, too! He's definitely going to be getting his story told, release date TBD (but I'm estimating 2024).

S. Massery If you mean Willow and Knox from Brutal Obsession, yes, they'll each be getting HEAs (happily ever afters)! Keep an eye out for new releases this year. :)

Do you have an expected publication date for Broken Mercenaries #4?
S. Massery I do not, unfortunately. It's a project that's been on the back burner for a while, and hopefully someday that will change!

S. Massery Yes! So keep your eyes peeled for little cameos of characters from other series!

Hi! Is there a specific way to read DeSantis Mafia series and Wicked Series as they both take place in the same universe <3?
S. Massery I'd recommend the Fallen Royals first (at least the first three) and then the DeSantis Mafia series, but they can be read in either order!

S. Massery Hi! Yes, Lucy's story is Wild Fury (Fallen Royals, #6). It's a standalone in the series. :)

S. Massery Hello! Margo and Caleb's story is 3 books. I am planning more in the series that will focus on Caleb's friends. Each of those will be a standalone. :)

S. Massery Finishing up edits of Something Sacred, and next up is "AWB" - title will be released at a later date. :D

How do you deal with writer’s block?
S. Massery I like to jump around if I get stuck on one scene. It helps keep my interest piqued and the words flowing.
