C.R. Pugh I didn't have too many books on my reading list for the summer. I was working hard trying to finish book 3 of my trilogy. I did manage to read books 1 & 2 of the Korrigan trilogy by Rebecca F. Kenney. Spectacular books. Can't wait to get to book 3. This fall, I'll be diving into Kenney's newest book, Monsters of Magic. A Phantom of the Opera retelling. Rebecca F. Kenney is a new favorite YA author. Next I'm hoping to get to The Burns Fire by NM Thorn, Remade by Danielle Novotny, and Pomegranate by Nicole Scarano!
C.R. Pugh So many places to choose from! I think I'd love visiting Hogwarts and the magical world of Harry Potter. It's one of my favorite series to read and re-read. I'd love to be chosen to attend Hogwarts and learn magical spells! But I imagine I'd be as troublesome as the Weasley twins.
C.R. Pugh It's never too late to start writing. I was 32 years old when I began writing my trilogy. Once you begin writing...you are a writer.
C.R. Pugh It doesn't take much for me to be inspired to write each day. My head is full of stories I long to write. Everyday I work to get down on paper (or computer screen) so I can move on to the next story.
C.R. Pugh I just launched book 1 of a new historical fantasy, The Petticoat Pirate. I just started writing the rough draft of book 2. Hoping to finish it early in the new year.
C.R. Pugh This book idea actually came from a dream I had. I have always had very vivid dreams. It was such an intriguing dream I couldn't let go of it. I pondered it for weeks and turned it into a wonderful adventure.
