Thirty years ago I watched firsthand and close up some of the longest four months in my life, the birth, illness, surgery, and ultimately the passing of one of my children.
I was thinking this story might help those around me better understand what it was like for a young father and his young family to live through this very stressful time.
Picking up on some thoughts left over from a younger time, I just began the process to finish that story.
