M.D. Stewart I'm working on it. My writer's block has been an issue. Thanks for asking, I'm getting back into things now, so hopefully by the end of the year. I don't want to turn out anything less than perfect for my readers. I appreciate your patience!
M.D. Stewart I woke to a dark room, feeling lost and alone. I stumbled to the kitchen only to discover the coffee pot was broken.
M.D. Stewart Oh! My own StewartVerse where sexy aliens are on Earth and they're looking for their mates! Beings who have recently restored their emotions and Otronians who started on this planet as observers back when humans were first evolving. Strangely, out Native American and Polynesian cultures are very similar to theirs (hmmmmmmm).
M.D. Stewart Summer is almost over, so I'm going for warm and sexy books that I can read under a blanket while drinking coffee or hot chocolate! Ed Davis new Hart's Bay series is awesome so far and I'm waiting to get the third book in the series. And the Heart-2-Heart anthology is coming out October 1st! I'm stoked about that (am I showing my age by saying the word "stoked"?)
M.D. Stewart Jonas's story with Aaron is the bonus story at the end of My Forever Love. I hope that helped :)
M.D. Stewart Wow, that's a loaded question!
The latest book I've released was Double Time, the first in the Crossing the Line series. I actually started that book about fifteen years ago but I gave up because I couldn't figure out how to tie it all together. Since then I've put out books that gave me the way to put the past/present together. It's funny because it has the lowest rating on here, but it's one of my favorite books that I've written!
M.D. Stewart Since I can remember, I've always written poetry or stories. I love to read, and about twenty years ago I found a fan fiction site that the author approved and would visit. I wrote there, and I'd copy/paste the story to Word and edit it to all fit together. I just found the "book" the other day and read through it. I saw several mistakes my editor would go crazy over, but that means I'm learning, right?
M.D. Stewart Like I've said before, I usually have more than one book open at all times. Currently, I'm about half-way through the second book in the Fae Shifters series. It's Bran's story.
I have the third book in The Watchers series open too. It's the story of the Talia, the Head Council of Otron and General Vargas's story. I've learned to like the severe General. He has more to him than I had thought when I met him in the Psy-Bond series.
I also have a new series based on a character named Jonas, that I wrote about in the second book of the Crossing the Line series (My Forever Love). My editor has that book right now, so hopefully, it'll be out by Christmas.
M.D. Stewart Find a good editor! Even with an editor, you need a proofreader. I still have issues with that, but I work hard to make my books as mistake-free as possible although it doesn't always happen. In today's self-publishing world it would be easy to skip the editor but don't. Sometimes it hurts to get that copy back with all that red and notes on the side, but you pay for honesty and criticism!
A good cover is a must! I started with books I liked and contacted the authors of those books to find out who they used for their cover artist and their editors.
M.D. Stewart I get to use my imagination. I told my husband it was being able to look at cute men on Google for inspiration haha. Really, I'm just happy to finally get the characters in my head to speak up.
M.D. Stewart Oh, this can be a biggie for me. I usually have more than one book open so I can go to another book when I get stuck. Sometimes it's like a kick in the pants when words start to flow with different characters.
