I like being a writer for several reasons: 1. It allows me to do research on a subject I want to know more about. 2. If i can understand it, then i want to relay that to the reader. I have to be personally connected to a topic I am writing about - that explains my intense work in uncovering more UFO encounters - the same or different than mine. The other thing I wrote about was my father career in the US Air Force as a Chaplain. When I saw my first several UFOs, i thought I was going crazy. But Chaplain Chace (Col) believed in the subject because of the people he met - Astronauts and UFO pilots.

To me - writers block means i need some time off to do something else. My ideas come to me at the weirdest times - keeping a note book of thoughts and ideas help. Though some of these are never used, some are.

1. Research, research and research. I must have spent thousands of hours, working declassified reports, writing National Archives on several occasions. 2. My personal experience in the subject matter was both thrilling and scary at the same time. You have to work through the logic and emotional hemispheres of your brain as you get close to the subject.
3. Use "grammarly" and read it over and over. Take a break for several months and read it again.

After reading the declassified CIA UFO files, In my research many of the known UFO cases involving CIA personnel were not released. The book concentrates on the creation of the CIA under President Truman up to the present, who knew what when. The most interesting aspect to me was the back and forth communications between governments. All the while, the American public was kept in the dark until recently. Thousands of Photos and film of UFOs are still archived in Classified file. The CIA was aware of some of this material.

My 20th book with be on Contacts and Abductions by UFO pilots and crews. It is a tough subject. Up until this, I have concentrated my books on UFO space ships and their crew members being seen.

I did not believe in UFOs - at all, despite being on military bases up until college. It was when I was in Connecticut in my 50's that I had my first experience, followed by up to 100 sightings. I must have spent over 40 hours filming these things - and out of 40 hours - only 4 hours proved unique. Having several UFOs stop over our house was quite interesting. This happened on several occasions and led me to reach out to several professionals - my father who had known UFO Interceptor pilots during his career.
