Usually I'm driving and thinking ... it's the only time in this stage of my life I have sort of to myself. I'll have to pull out my voice to text to get the words down in my notes app.
But as for inspiration, usually other writers' work inspires me to spin off of their subject.

But seriously - writing words helps me process my feelings and thoughts ... in a way that just talking or thinking doesn't. I also like being able to do it anywhere and at anytime.

I just start writing. I write whatever I'm thinking. Usually what I first write turns out to be junk .... but eventually, the better stuff comes.
