Just read the ARC and I have to say I was impressed. Kids are going to love Leo's story. He's so relatable! And, bonus, the book's a great recommendation for kids that are into #STEM! I thought the ending was really unexpected too. Can we expect a follow-up to Leo Gray and the Lunar Eclipse? Thanks so much!

I can't make any promises as to when a next installment of Leo Gray should be expected, but I can tell you that the Lunar Eclipse is only the beginning! K.J. Kruk The best thing about being a writer is knowing that you can share your voice, your thoughts—your dreams!—with others who may benefit from hearing it.

What are you currently working on?
K.J. Kruk What I'm working on, at present, consists of a very long list of secrets that may or may not relate to an astronomer's map! ;-)

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
K.J. Kruk I was on the lanai of a really crummy vacation rental in Waikiki, staring out at the moon glimmering over Diamond Head when Mrs. Gray popped into my head. The rest, as they say, was history!

How do you deal with writer’s block?
K.J. Kruk "When greeted with writer's block, it's been said that I turn into something that resembles a mad scientist on the cusp of a great discovery. Though, in all honesty, I feel more like a dog lying in wait for the last of his days...."

How do you get inspired to write?
K.J. Kruk "I don't know that I ever have to "do" something to get inspired to write. Thoughts and imaginings are never ceasing in my head, so it's simply a process of capturing the good ones while trying to tune out those that are not so grand!"

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
K.J. Kruk "If you're young, you really shouldn't be focusing all that much on what you hope to be doing one day as an adult. Your life and dreams will change drastically, so simply follow your bliss—write if you like to write, draw if you like to draw—and try to have some fun! If, however, you're not so young, do try to write for someone other than yourself and for an audience you could hypothetically teach."
