S. Dharma I should say i stole my ideas - these are the ideas of ancients - these are Sanatana Dharma ideas - or popularly known as Hindu ideas. All I am doing is giving them a fresh look, that's all
S. Dharma Growing up as a Hindu - i was immersed in it. The subject of Reincarnation is intriguing - it seems here in the west almost no one has a good word to say about it - in fact in most of the world this seems to be the prevailing opinion. So why did the ancient Hindus teach it? If it is so unpopular why did it survive for so long? Are there any good sides to it?

We learn thru life that nothing comes without a cost, that in all areas of life, there are upsides and downsides. The upside of trying to get top grades in school is the cost of time, hard work and effort. While the D student snores away happily or takes in a late night movie, the A student is hard at work. That is the downside for the A Student. But then it is the A student that will earn the praise of his peers, her Teacher, her parents and family - that's the downside for the D student

And that's when I realized that Heaven is not cost-free - there are downsides to Heaven - being a dependent like a beggar or a pet - no worries or responsibilities but yet totally dependent on another to feed, cloth and shelter him. If the master forgets to put food out, the pet starves

The upside of Reincarnation or Life is being independent, standing on one's own feet, being in control of our own life
S. Dharma This, I think, I will be doing the rest of my life - constantly revising my book on Reincarnation
S. Dharma Do it! Just write - we have so many outlets now and it is so much easier to sit down and start writing. Temper your expectations though, you may think that you have a best-seller on your hands but you will quickly find that Agents and Publishers have zero clue on what makes a good book.
S. Dharma I am not sure I can call myself that, yet. Right now I am more an idea person, I want to change the world with my ideas
S. Dharma I think this might be more applicable for a fiction writer who wants to tell a story whereas being a non-fiction writer, I already knew what I wanted to say. New thoughts keep flooding my mind and I hope to revise my book in the near future
