I originally started writing Soul Bound to Scotland as a traditional romance. However, I hit a wall and couldn't get the story to go any further. I had jotted down an idea for another book that dealt with out of body experiences in a near death situation. I am not sure what prompted me to put my characters into that situation, but it worked.

Another short story that is a part two to Escape from Covenant Cove and the book that will go along with those two short stories. It is turning into a bigger project that I thought it would be. However, has been a fun story to write.

Research... EVERYTHING! From formatting to submitting. After I wrote my first book, I found out about formatting and that dialog needed to be set up a certain way. I spent a week trying to figure it all out.

I step away and think about my characters. Usually, the problem is me wanting a certain outcome that doesn't fit into my character's storyline.
