Rachael Sparks We spent a vacation in Maine and I fell for the area. It made me want to learn its history, and in doing so all these stories came to me, of women colonists and local natives and how their lives must have been so challenging.
Rachael Sparks A story set in Maine, both in 1720s and in the present, about a CDC investigator who is recovering from a career embarrassment and working on her last case — two boys near death with a brain infection that can't seem to be cured.
She begins to experience the memories of a woman accused of witchcraft 300 years prior then sentenced to die by being tossed into a local waterspout. A witch with her same last name.
