The inspiration for my most recent book, Gothic Poems to Love & Liberty, stemmed from a deep fascination with global myths and folklore. By intertwining tales from Greek, Russian, Native American, Mayan, Japanese, Korean, and Sindhi traditions, I aimed to explore universal themes of love, loss, and freedom.
This fusion allowed me to delve into the beauty of sorrow and the eerie echoes of myth, transforming timeless legends into hauntingly poetic laments that resonate with readers.

Inspiration can come from anywhere—conversations, nature, music, or even a single powerful word. I often find ideas in everyday moments, like the way shadows stretch at sunset or the emotions in a stranger’s eyes. Reading great literature also sparks my creativity, as does exploring different perspectives through travel and deep conversations.

Writer’s block can be frustrating, but I tackle it in a few ways. Sometimes, I step away from writing and do something completely different—like reading, taking a walk, or listening to music—to let my mind reset. Other times, I free-write without worrying about perfection, just to get the creative flow going. And if all else fails, I revisit my favorite books for inspiration.
Do you write as well? If so, how do you handle it?

Great question! If I could travel to any fictional book world, I’d love to visit the Shire from The Lord of the Rings. I’d spend my days enjoying the peaceful countryside, sharing stories with the Hobbits over a hearty meal, and maybe even joining Bilbo on one last adventure. What about you?

She tucked her son into bed, kissed his forehead, and turned off the light—only to hear his voice behind her whisper, *"There's someone in my bed."*
Her heart stopped as she slowly turned back, seeing two identical pairs of wide, terrified eyes staring at her from the darkness.

Everyone's journey can be a book. There's a lot to learn from everyone's life so there might be things in my life that could help people.
