Hey Grey! I actually have written a book about Shae!! Craving Chaos, the last of the Byrne Brothers books is about Shae because yes, she is awesome and needed her adventure to be told. :)

Hi Abigail! They haven't shown up yet, but I wouldn't rule it out. I have a way of bringing people back around. We'll be seeing some of the Five Families characters in the Moretti Men, so you never know... :)

Hey Rachel! I'm so glad you're enjoying the books!!! You are not getting ahead. I thought I was going to do a novella for Shae and Devlin, but in true Shae fashion, she changed the script on me. I just released a book titled Craving Chaos that is Shae's story. Technically it's not part of the Byrne Brothers series but it could have been.

First, I'm so glad you enjoyed Silent Vows! My Five Families series technically came first, so if you want to read in order, start with Forever Lies. And thanks for reaching out!

Damyon will appear again, but aside from saying that, my lips are sealed!

I don't know that there was one specific book. There were plenty of books that I rolled my eyes at and thought, this is not how I would have written the story.
When I finally did decide to see if I could walk the walk, I decided to write in the vein of my favorite series of books, Fever, by Karen Marie Moning. Those who have read her books will see a strong resemblance between our first two books in the overall concept of a girl going to Ireland and discovering the Fae. After that, the stories diverge. The concept was always so intriguing, that was the first place my imagination went when I decided to write. If you haven't read her work, you should check it out!!

I'd go to Fever Dublin and try to nab myself one of the Nine.

I saw a huge black spider in my closet and tried to smash it with a shoe. Now, I can't find him.

Hey Kaitlyn! I've never lived in New York, but my dad is from NYC and I grew up visiting often. I still have family in the city but don't make it up there as often as I would like. I picked that particular city because Becca and Ashley are adventurers and there isn't a more diverse, dynamic city in the States than New York--it would be the perfect place for those two girls to explore.

I am a huge fantasy fan and the Fae have always intrigued me so it was a natural starting place for a first book. I also can hardly read a book unless there's some romance so anything I write will always have romance in it!

Organization!!!! Outlining, character summaries, notes on places and events--I found that I had to keep track of every little detail or it all gets muddled.

I haven't had any big-time writer's block so far. If the story isn't coming to me in the moment, I put it away and start fresh later.
