What are you currently working on?
Justin Matott I am working on a series of time travel novels geared at middle school and up. It was been a wonderful journey in expressing a part of my imagination I hadn't been aware of. I've had several fantasy groups do rereads and give me very good advice on how to make the stories more believable and enjoyable to read.

Justin Matott Be willing to rewrite and rewrite and rewrite until it's right.

Justin Matott Finding out your imagination inspires others to imagine more and possibly even try his or her hand at writing.

Justin Matott Ha Ha, who knows. I was put up for adoption, so it is highly likely.

Hi! My son and I love your book. I bought for him when he was an infant and now he's 8! We were reading the book last night and he has a question for you. Here goes: "I noticed the dog is featured on most of the pages illustrations, but not on some. Is the dog in the book a real family dog? If so, what is his/her name? I love the book. Thank you. -TC"
Justin Matott I believe the dog was one of Mark Ludy's dogs.

Justin Matott Hi, The illustrator has a pug named Kiwi and I'm not sure if he had a specific dog in mind when he included it. However, I wish it were one of my dogs; Snickers, Tootsie Roll or Butterfingers, known as Butters.
