I usually have a couple of projects on the go so that when one gets overworked, I can give it a rest and go back to another.
I also find that a good walk with my notepad and a pen can get me going. The trick is that you have to force your mind to stay on something within the story, a character or plotline. It might be as simple as a sentence or an image that comes to me but it's enough to get me typing.
