Having a job by the side or something that brings you income other than writing would be a great way to delve into the profession as getting to limelight and making money writing could take some time. Doing otherwise could be a path to getting frustrated and even giving up too soon. Writing is hard work and only a determined soul with real focus eventually breaks through, So having something by the side which you can depend on in case the journey gets tough would be a great way to start writing. Most people I met in the jungle were unlettered but rich in local wisdom. I'm glad to capture some of the wisecracks in my works. I mean, the best thing being a writer is like a camera what we put down now would be appraised deep into the future.

My book, 'Write Without Fears And Tears (Twenty-one Tricks On How To Write Well)' actually is a guide on how writers suffering writer's block should overcome the condition. From my experience, I hit writer's block when I exhausted my bag of imagery which I later realized was derived from my early experiences and knowledge. When I changed my environment and got to where I was bombarded with new experiences and my knowledge base was broadened, my creative endeavours moved to new heights. Change of environment to where you're learning exciting new things definitely would help a writer writes well. In my case, I left the city accidentally to earn a living in the jungle and years after my creativity took an upswing.

My most recent book is 'The Many Faces Of Truth'. The story is built around the camaraderie of a family and the especial love of a grandmother. This story wouldn't have been possible without the love my maternal grandmother lavished on us (my siblings and me) while she was alive.
