Someone told me that it is vanity that makes most people write. I did not want to consider myself vain and I really challenged my motives in writing. What got me motivated was the challenge to see, if after many years of working in the field, whether I could actually make a meaningful contribution that would assist current and future leaders.

Apart from helping ambitious leaders close gaps in performance, I am publishing a new novel and writing another.
At some point I hope to publish a second edition of "Building Winning Organisations"; with the ambition of capturing further refinements and improvements from those who are using and challenging the models.

The book was about completing unfinished business. I had been asked by a number of CEO's of large organisations to define what is required to achieve operational excellence.
Invariably what these CEO's really wanted to achieve was best in class performance.
After a great deal of research and review the Winning Organisation Model was developed.
