Wees niet te streng voor jezelf. Gooi tijdens het schrijven van de eerste versie gewoon alles eruit. Maak je niet druk om mooie zinnen, het herhalen van woorden of dat je te veel informatie geeft. De eerste versie is alleen voor jezelf bedoeld, dus leg jezelf geen belemmeringen op. Dat schrappen en schaven komt tijdens het herschrijven wel.

Een van de ideeën voor 'Geheugenspel' kreeg ik door te bladeren in 'Het aanzien van 1998'. Ik was op zoek naar een zaak waar Emily's vader, een rechercheur gespecialiseerd in criminal profiling, in 1998 aan kon werken.

I'm currently plotting the sequel to my paranormal YA 'How Dead People Ruined My Life'. As some of you noticed, not all questions are answered yet in the first book. Since both main character Robin and I are curious human beings, we can't just ignore that. ;)
