Great question, Naomi! I would want them to have hope. Things can and do get pretty dark in real life, as they do in books, but there is always hope. :)

Hi, Naomi! I’m so grateful for this experience. Becoming an author is a dream come true! I’m most thankful for the people who believed in me and helped me to keep going, even when I felt that I might never make it this far. I’m grateful for wonderful partners working with me to help me become a better writer, including my fantastic agents, editors, and critique partners. And I’m super excited about how beautiful my cover is for my debut novel, THE QUIET YOU CARRY. My main character, Victoria, would definitely say my book is full of tricks. She definitely gets more than her fair share of twists and turns in her journey, but that's what makes it so interesting (I hope!).
