Hello Donna. Fading to Black (Uninhibited #2), is already written and I'm currently sending it back and forth to my editor so that minor edits/rewrites can be made. The book has a tentative release date of August 2018. Advance Reader Copies will likely go out in July. I know how much readers hate waiting on a series (I'm like that too), and I have no intention of making you all wait long. Thank you for the question.

Hello. Those are great questions.
Books one and two are told through Evelyn's perspective. I have considered releasing freebie short-stories of certain scenes in books one and two through Adam's perspective but it's not something I'm sure people would like to read so I keep pushing it down the list. Book three however does give us a glimpse of his perspective as of now, though it has not been professionally edited yet since it's scheduled for a Nov/Dec release. Since it's a work-in-progress I don't want to say anything too concrete because it could change.
As for your second question, yes, Waking to Black is my first book. I'm proud of this story especially because the relationship Evelyn had with her father is reminiscent of the relationship I had with my own father. Some of the darker aspects of Evelyn’s personality are very real aspects of some people’s lives and I like the idea of a love story which shows a protagonist working to overcome those issues.
The experience of publishing and reaching out to readers has been both terrifying and exciting. I'm happy I finally took the steps to make this dream a reality.
Thank you so much for the questions.

Waking to Black and the subsequent sequels in the Uninhibited Series, (Fading to Black and Surrendering to Black), is about the love affair of Evelyn Snowe and Adam Black. I'm a huge fan of trilogy romances, such as Sylvia Day's, Crossfire Series or R. K. Lilley's, In Flight Series—so I wanted to write something in that realm.
Book two of the trilogy is currently being reviewed by my editor. I have no intentions of making readers wait a long time to read more about Evelyn and Adam.
I do have plans to perhaps make a fourth book related to the series, and it would deal with characters introduced in the main trilogy, but it would not revolve around Evelyn and Adam.

I create a playlist—songs related to a theme or emotion I'm attempting to channel—then I listen. With music blasting in my ear, I let the characters I'm writing about take over my thoughts and often, before I realize, I've written a chapter. I constantly edit the playlist as I write.
I'm also inspired by images, so if I'm suffering from writer's block, searching for photos/pictures related to a characters appearance or how I imagine the setting of a scene to look like, helps inspire me.
