Do it! Write often and read often. You learn so much about the craft of writing from reading. Believe in yourself and take that plunge and put your book out there. I know it is scary but trust me it is so worth it. Make links with published authors and see if they will mentor you or offer you any advice and guidance. Read books on publishing and the craft of writing, join a writers group or a facebook group for writers. I have been writing my whole life but it took me years to be brave enough to take that step and publish a book and I have never looked back since.

Everything! Firstly, I get to do what I love most in the world which is create worlds and characters and escape from reality. Secondly, I get to share my stories with others and there is nothing more amazing than when a reader contacts you and tells you how much they loved one of your books.

The dreaded writers block! Trust me I have been there. Whenever I have writers block I take a step back from my laptop, I go take a walk, or settle down in front of Netflix and start a new series or go spend some time with my family. There are some days when the words flow like a river for me and there are other days were I pull the words kicking and screaming from my mind, on such days, I just take a step back and go and do something else that enjoy.

Writing is something I have to do. If I have a few days without writing I become irritable and my creative mind is screaming at me to sit and create something. Writing for me is a necessity, I have to write, it is my escape, my downtime my way of relaxing. I saw a quote once that said writing is a necessary as breathing and that sums up exactly how it is for me.

That is a tough one to answer. The idea for this story had been playing around in my head for well over a year, but for some reason it just wasn't coming together enough to start to put pen to paper. Suddenly one weekend I was feeling inspired and finally had the plot worked out in my head, after this the words just started to flow and Elara's story unfolded.

I am currently writing the second book of the Hexborn Series. Book two will be titled 'Inescapable' and will hopefully be released early in April 2020. I can't wait to bring my readers the second book in this series. Elara and Drayce have quite a journey ahead of them both, and love and loyalties will be tested. In book two we will meet some new and important characters and also see more of some of the characters we had brief introductions to in book one.
