The first draft of the sequel, Breaking Nick, is finished but still needs extensive revisions and editing. Based on book two as it is currently written, a third book is in order and I have begun outlining it based on the status as is. However, as I delve into revisions, the potential for changes may (or may not) dictate that a 3rd book is unnecessary.

For the paranormal romance I'm working on? Easy. I absolutely love the group Placebo. I have virtually all their ablums in my itunes. I was listening to the album Sleeping With Ghosts while I fell asleep one night. I woke up at like three in the morning with the song Sleeping With Ghosts playing, and the album art lighting up the dark from my screen. The art is of a man holding a naked woman that is transparent and ghostly, and while I was still half-asleep, the thought struck me, "It must suck to be ghost and not be able to touch." The thought stayed with me for days until I finally decided to write it.

Music. I love music. I love almost all kinds of music (literally, just about everything except rap and hip-hop) and can dream up a scene inside my head for just about every song I hear. I love classical, hard rock, pop, grunge, electronica/dance, Latin, country, disco, 60's & 70's classics, 80's, jazz, new age, opera, movie and video game soundtracks. You can't walk into my house or ride in the car with me without hearing music, and 99% of the time I'm usually daydreaming about a story while I'm listening.

I am currently editing and revising a manuscript I finished a few years ago. It's a paranormal romance, a ghost story told from the perspective of the ghost rather than the human. It explores how a relationship can develop and evolve without the ability to touch or be touched. After going through beta readers and agents, I took the feedback and decided it wasn't quite ready yet. Sadly, it has taken me this long to figure out what to do about it. LOL

Don't just dream about it - do it! Worry about the readers and whether it's good enough or will anyone like it once you're done. But you can't worry about any of that until you take the first step and get started.

The best thing about being a writer is that I can bring to life all the things going on inside my head. And, hopefully, a few others find it all as entertaining as I do.
