Hmm...that's a good question...again, I use a lot of high-energy music, fast paced action scenes, or emotional moments in shows I love to help get everything going.
Or I will just sit, staring at the document typing and erasing the word "the" until more words start forming.
At the end of the day, you don't wait for the muse to strike you, you gotta hunt your muse down, tackle it, and beat the muse like it owes you money! Be your own muse, or something!

Music! Something with an amazing beat, or heartfelt words. Whatever can get the heart pumping harder and my brain revving up.
Though, if I am truly passionate about a story, or the characters, then I rarely hit a block. It's the initial concept that I usually trip over.

I love everything about it. Creating the characters, the world, the rules...I love sitting around thinking on the "what ifs" of the story! I think the absolute best is when someone reads your story and gives you feedback about how much they enjoyed it.

Just write! Any chance you get! Write for yourself, write stories that you would want to read. As long as you love your stories, then it doesn't matter if you get anyone else to read it. The important part is enjoying the process.
