Janet Lee Smith Hi Amber,

Thank you for the question!! I've been meaning to update the series here on Amazon and have not done that. I'm going to get it done right now. Thanks again!!

Janet
Janet Lee Smith It's an idea that I'v had for at least 10 years (actually thinking now about how I came up with the idea, it's actually been about 12 - 14 years ago). I used to go into an AOL chat room and had a couple of close friends in there. The idea came from our friendship.
Janet Lee Smith That's easy, it's just something I've loved to do for years. So I don't really need to be inspired. It's just something I naturally want to do.
Janet Lee Smith I'm currently working on "Their Search For s. Right". It's a book about three women who have been friends since the 5th grade. Their currently in their late 20's and all decide they want to find the person for them. Oh and they're lesbians. I'm only working on that one because I have about 26 more days to get the final draft submitted. This is book 1 in a series called "Friends For Life".
Janet Lee Smith Don't dream about it, don't think about it, just do it. I've been saying for at least 10 years that I wanted to be a writer. Now I wish I had just started doing it earlier. Being a writer is one of those careers that YOU say you are. Like acting. No one else decides you're a writer, you do.
Janet Lee Smith I'm not sure yet. lol I just had my first book published, so I'm really new at this. Actually, I think the best part is I'm living a dream that I've had for at least 10 years. I don't know how it will end up. I may never sell one book. But no matter what happens, I'll be able to say I tried. And hopefully I'll keep writing, even if I don't sell anything. Because at the end of the day I'm doing it for me. I also hope that people learn from my doing this that they should live their dreams, no matter what comes of it and no matter how old they are. Heck, I'm 51!
Janet Lee Smith That's a tough question. The basic story for "Their Search For Ms. Right" has been in my mind for over 10 years, which you would think would make it easier. But nope! Sometimes I sit here staring at the monitor with my mind moving furiously over different ways to write a part. If anything works, I would say it's just putting it down for bit and walking away and going back to it at some point. That could be hours or a couple of days.
