Book #5 in the Eden Chronicles is out.

Book #5 in the Eden Chronicles is almost complete and ready to go to the editor. #6 in that series is next up, which may wrap the series but it likely will need a 7th book. At that point, there are several projects I've been toying with in the space opera and grim dark fantasy genres.

#5 in that series is my current WIP. I'm making good progress on it and tentatively planning on a Q1 '23 release. I'll jump into #6 immediately after. Thanks for reading!

Yes. The draft is done and I'm cleaning it up before the Beta readers and editor get it. Thanks for reading, Scott

Hi Chris - Thanks for reaching out. Book three's done in terms of writing. There's a bunch of editing, beta reads, more editing and formatting still to do. I am shooting for end of February or beginning of March to have it available.

LOL - Holy shit! I never noticed that before and you've been one of my favorite writers since I read your Monarchies series. That said - it doesn't speak well to your genetic pool; my own is the human version of a dog pound mutt. Now, if I could only write as well as you do. Thanks for reaching out. Best regards, Scott

Debbie - I'm glad you enjoyed the book. I am in the process of wrapping up Book 3 in my "Eden Chronicles" series. Once that is done, the next project on the "to-do" list is Book 2 "Seasons of Man." I'm anxious to get back to Jason, Pro, and Rachel myself, and then folding in the arrival of the new group from Antarctica - New bad guys too! Thanks for reading! Best Regards - Scott

Soon... ? Michael, I appreciate the question and rest assured I'm working on it. The draft is done, and I am in the process of cleaning it up before it goes to the editor. Given the issues I had with the editing process during 'A Bright Shore', I am committed to more quality control this time around. It is taking time, and the damn day job keeps getting in the way. But we are getting closer.

Best advice I ever received was to just write, everyday. Everyday. What had been something I did when the mood struck suddenly took on a focus and energy. My writing time is reserved for night time. Work is done, day is done, family is usually asleep. I don't have any excuse at that point. I think twenty years ago, like a lot of people that write, I was waiting for that perfectly formed lightning bolt to strike, and voila!, I'd have a story. Faulkner has a great quote about his muse, "I absolutely rely on my muse, fortunately she shows up every morning at 9 O' clock sharp."

I'm working diligently on Eden Chronicles Book II (almost there). I also have a post apocalyptic story 90% done, but sitting on a back burner.
