Abraham confidently pulled on the handle of the iron door but, strangely, it would not open. He gasped in shock as the angel of death grabbed ahold of his wrist and threw him into the lake of fire where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth, where the worm does not die and the fire is not quenched and the smoke of his torment rose forever and ever.
The most horrific horror story is the true one, that of a person eternally separated from the God of love, the One True God, the Creator of the Universe, the Holder and Protector of our souls. All glory to him. And may many enter through the narrow gate and be saved.
All it takes is repentance and a commitment to live your life for God instead of yourself. Lord, help us all humble ourselves and come near to you, the Lover of our souls.
With you and you only is protection and victory.

I prefer this life to any fictional life.... I am blessed knowing that God has put me where I am to grow me and help me do what he planned in advance for me to do. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but in God's will. There is safety and love there. Of course I am looking forward to heaven as described in Revelation, where we will have no more pain or mourning or suffering, but we will rejoice in God forever. I look forward to the work God will have for me there, for which he has been training me my whole life. I assume it will involve loving and teaching others, and learning from God Himself.

I actually didn't see this question until now (Feb. 2020) but I can look back and see what I read last summer. Looks like I intended to re-read The Witness buy Nora Roberts, but I didn't finish it. I guess my tastes and time management goals have changed. My daughter was living with us all summer and I didn't read much. I did read Story Genius by Lisa Cron and I did read the Bible daily.

When I have writer's block, I stop writing and go do something else. Making myself write when the timing is all wrong just leads to frustration and a lot of deleted words. :) Better to leave the page blank until I have a great idea.

I love being a writer and seeing the words come out far better than I thought they could. I love grabbing the reader's emotions and taking them on an adventure through words I have written. It's quite the powerful experience, and so rewarding.

If you want to be a writer, know that it's going to take a lot of patience and work. But if that's if you're meant to be, it will all work out.

Currently, I am working on Book Two of The Laguna Beach Series. It's about Chloe's older sister, Aurora, and her romance with Kade Whetherby.

I have to be in the mood to write. I can't just make it happen if I don't have the desire. I know from experience that forcing my writing is nearly impossible.

Actually, this book is based on truth. I think a lot of books are....
