How do you get inspired to write?

A.B. Robinette Things I witness as I'm out and about, read on the news (usually the science section), off the radio, from TV, from various world mythologies, all of these things can lead to bouts of inspiration.

How do you deal with writer’s block?

A.B. Robinette Go back to an earlier section of the book and rewrite it. I've often found that's where my writer's block stems from - something I'd written previously that is bothering me. It stifles my creativity and after I fix it, I'm able to continue.
