Book 2 in my series, the followup to my soon-to-be-released debut novel. I'm also working on a short story for an anthology with the theme "Escape". But, other than that I've got a thousand ideas rolling around in my head I probably won't have time in my lifespan to write.

Write. There is no such thing as an aspiring writer. You either write or you don't. Just write, and about anything that strikes your fantasy. Write as often as you can and want to. You will improve. You will grow and mature and change and your writing will change with you. It will only get better the more you work at it. Writing is a craft and, if you want to be a writer, all you have to do is write.

I love writing because it lets me explore worlds that I'll never, ever get to see in life. I get to meet people that couldn't possibly exist. I get to live a thousand lives, while I've only got the one. The same can be said for reading. It allows you to live more than one life, to experience more than one world. But, with writing, I get to create those worlds.

I take a walk, look for new music that fits the type of scene or story I'm working on, but sometimes I just need to take a break. There are a bunch of advice articles and books that will tell writers that they need to write every day, but sometimes you really do just need to step back from the story and come back to it with fresh eyes.

I've always been a fan of fantasy, but I'm also a huge fan of multiverse theory! The idea that we are just one universe in a bubble touching other possible universes is absolutely fascinating to me. So, I chose to merge the two things I really enjoy reading about into a series.
