If I ever get it, I'll let you know. My problem is that with so many ideas floating about in my head, I need to make a choice, and that can get confusing. The scenes of my books are like pieces of a puzzle. Each one may be beautiful in its own right, but they do not always fit together, and that can be a struggle. When it happens I remember Churchill's adage "If you are going through Hell, keep going." I plod on, and it all fits together in the end, even if sadly, some of the pieces need to be discarded

Usually, I do not like dystopian novels, unless they are written by a true master such as George Orwell or John Wyndham. I like Zombie novels even less . But I have had a great idea for a novel that combines both of those elements, and I think it could really work; so that's what I'm working on. After that I will write the sequel to Quench and Wendy in the Land of Shovan.

The inspiration is omnipresent. It's just a question of finding time away from the world to write it down.

Quench and Wendy in the Land of Shovan exists largely in the Aura, a sense of the unconscious that exists only in Shovan, and it is from my dreams that the idea came. I write early in the morning, when I am still close to the dreams of the night. Apart from that, I have no idea where my ideas come from. I write as if documenting the scenes I see before my eyes.
