Justin DiPego Two things:
1 - Always be writing. Don't wait for inspiration to strike. Force yourself to write for a given about of time at a given time of day and always have a story or idea you're developing or actually creating.

2 - Always be collecting experiences. Writing is not a desk job. Everywhere you go, everything you see and do teaches you about the world and the people in it. If you can't physically get out there, collect experiences via whatever media you have access to, and always be expanding your scope. Experiment with genres you're not familiar with. And no matter what, pay attention.
Justin DiPego Writing is hard work. It makes you tired and it drains your bank if ideas. When I've run dry I don't try to force it. That just will frustrate you. I step away, often into my shop where I'll find something to build or something to upcycle into something else. When my conscious mind is focused on a non-writing task, my unconscious gets a chance to refuel.

Also, sometimes taking a shower helps.
