The next book in the Glass Admiral series "The Iron Lieutenant" will be released for pre-order on April 30th at a discounted price. The book will then be delivered to your Kindle on May 13th.
I apologize for any inconvenience. I just decided to do a short pre-order period in order to avoid making any errors with the release sequence.
To be perfectly honest, I am a bit paranoid at applying my less than stellar math skills to the release situation particularly as I am working out of different time zones at the moment and so I figure the two week pre-order padding should be enough time to work out any last minute timing kinks. (Last time I did this, the book cover appeared a week after the book went up.)

For my current project, a contemporary romance in which the hero has cerebral palsy, I was inspired by an article written by Andrew Gurza about what it is like to go on a first date when you have a disability.

I don't wait for inspiration. I make myself a cup of tea, put on my writer's hat (literally) and turn on the computer. Even if nothing 'inspired' comes to mind, I just start. I may need to throw out or heavily edit some of what I've written but hey, you can't do anything with a blank page right?

The feline office mates; being able to work in my pajamas when it is cold out; connecting with readers; being able to entertain myself at the drop of a hat with the imaginary people in my head; maybe, just maybe making someone feel a little less broken.

I give myself permission to write trash so that I can just keep writing. Eventually, if I keep writing, I write my way past the block.
