I am working with my co-author (Eric Tan) on a children's version of my most recent work ("A Little Book On Being Naturally Joyful") at the request of my sister who has 2 young kids.

I'm inspired to write by reading good works from other authors (I know, this is a cliche answer!) and also from the interactions I have with my client. They are the one who would sometimes say "why don't you write a book based on what we talked about?" and that "there's nothing out there about these ideas you are telling me".

My idea for my most recent book comes from the work I do with my clients as a clinical psychologist. I have also received training in specific helping methods for the past few years and love the ideas that make up these methods. So I have incorporated the ideas received from training as well as my interaction with my clients into the book "A Little Book On Being Naturally Joyful".
