Mark Henick Once upon a time, someone had an idea. They didn't know how to express it, so they didn't.
Mark Henick Paying attention is a powerful inspiration. Sometimes when I least expect it, I'll feel a little stir of a narrative that connects something I'm observing, then WHAM it hits. It's beautiful, when you're open to it.

Mark Henick Write. Don't get too caught up in having every part of your environment perfect. You probably don't need that special software, or keyboard, or paper, or writing sweater (I bought all of those). It will never be perfect. Especially the sentences. Get them down on paper or screen - typos and clunkiness and all - and form them later. Let the process be messy. That's where the creativity happens.
