Writer's block usually means I'm trying too hard. I need to let go (easier said than done) in order to let the words through. I try to centre myself, and catch the wave when it comes.

Write. Don't get too caught up in having every part of your environment perfect. You probably don't need that special software, or keyboard, or paper, or writing sweater (I bought all of those). It will never be perfect. Especially the sentences. Get them down on paper or screen - typos and clunkiness and all - and form them later. Let the process be messy. That's where the creativity happens.
