My son teaches me new things every day. I learn so much from my husband. And my late father taught me a lot as well. Each day I am reminded of these lessons. My most recent publication, "A Feather and A Button," combines lessons and stories each of them have taught me.

Just do it. Just get started. There will always be an excuse, a reason that you are not able to write at this time. Find the time and start writing. Sometimes my best thoughts are at four in the morning.

If I am experiencing writer's block. I take a break from writing. I am usually writing in the middle of the night while my husband and son are sleeping, so if I am experiencing writer's block, I usually go to sleep!
