Can you tell us a two-sentence horror story?

Elizabeth Huss She managed to pull her sputtering car onto the side of the road near an open field just as its engine gave out. Stepping out of the car, the humid night air closed in around her as she peered out into the middle of the field to see the figure of a man standing inside a ticket-taker's booth.

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

Elizabeth Huss I would travel to Manderlay, the house in Rebecca by Daphne DuMaurier. I'd sit on the terrace, drink tea and plan the next costume party.

Elizabeth Huss I've always wanted to write a book set in a high school in the 1980s. --Before cell phones, before the Internet, before social media!
