I always have time to eat! I write when I can, usually while eating or having a movie or show playing in the background. Although on occasion if I'm really working on a new or big project like a new cookbook and am really into it, I'll miss meals and just keep going on coffee or smoothies.

When I developed my blog, Nosh with Chef Julie, I set it up to organize all my recipes and connect with others. Every recipe I added gave me the confidence to keep writing. The more I had written, I realized that I had enough to make my dream of writing a cookbook come true.

Currently I'm working on setting up promotions, and signings for my new cookbook. I'm a newly published author and this is my first book. I plan on writing more and sharing my passion for culinary in new works. My next book might be just vegan recipes, desserts, or a mix of the two. I have a lot of ideas and I'm excited to start on my next book!

I seek out inspiration and take a break from writing. If I'm stuck I like to go for a run or a walk and it helps me unlock my brain. I love being outdoors, going to the library, or a museum to discover something new or visit my favorite paintings. Then after a little while the writing will come to me.
